Apple has introduced a new MacBook Air equipped with the powerful M3 chip, offering users enhanced performance and features. According to Apple, the MacBook Air with the M3 chip delivers up to 60% faster performance compared to the model featuring the M1 chip. The new MacBook Air introduces several enhanced capabilities, including support for up to two external displays and up to two times faster Wi-Fi connectivity compared to its predecessor. The 13-inch variant starts at Rs 114,900 (or Rs 104,900 for education), while the 15-inch model is priced at Rs 134,900 (or Rs 124,900 for education). Both versions are offered in midnight, starlight, silver, and space grey color options.
Updates to Existing Models
In addition to the new releases, Apple has adjusted the pricing of existing models. The 13-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip now starts at Rs 99,900 (or Rs 89,900 for education), providing users with more affordable options without compromising on performance.
Advanced Features
The new MacBook Air boasts a powerful 8-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, and support for up to 24GB of unified memory. These specifications enable hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing, enhancing the device’s capabilities for graphics-intensive tasks.
